Wild At Heart’s Recording Program supports artists with disability to professionally record their original music while building skills, confidence, and experience in a supportive, accessible environment.

What you’ll be part of

Hands-On Recording Experience

  • Work alongside experienced producers and mentors to bring your songs to life, learning arrangement, recording techniques, and basic production skills using industry-standard equipment.

Songwriting and Creative Development

  • Refine your songs, explore your musical ideas, and develop your sound with tailored guidance that reflects your goals and strengths.

Professional Skills and Industry Insight

  • Gain practical knowledge of studio workflow, recording processes, and pathways to release, performance, and wider creative opportunities.

Collaboration and Inclusion

  • Collaborate with mentors and peers, building creative relationships in a supportive, artist-led, and inclusive space.

Accessible, Strengths-Based Support

  • Sessions are designed to be accessible and tailored to each participant, empowering artists to develop independence, express their artistic voice, and share their music with audiences.

Who it’s for

This program is for songwriters, musicians, and producers with disability who want to record their original music, build technical and creative skills, and take practical steps toward sharing their work with the world.

When and where

Delivered at WAH Studio, community and professional studios in accessible sessions, combining one-to-one mentoring, hands-on recording, and collaborative creative support.

Payment Details:

NDIS

If you have an eligible NDIS Plan you will need to use this to pay for your participation. Your Plan will be charged at NDIS Price Guide rates, or if self managed, at a negotiated rate, for the hours of support provided. We usually charge your Core budget under Community Participation support item codes, but can also charge your Capacity Building budget if there’s funding available.

Non NDIS

If you are not NDIS funded and have no other funded support, chat with us about cash fee options.
