Wild At Heart’s Artist Development Program supports musicians, songwriters, producers, and music industry creatives with disability to build skills, expand professional opportunities, and navigate pathways into the music industry.
Whether you’re an emerging artists or already established, the program meets you where you are. Through one-to-one mentoring, small group learning, and industry connections, we work alongside you to strengthen your capabilities, grow your confidence, and take practical steps toward your goals.
What you’ll be part of
Professional Development and Industry Skills
Access mentoring, workshops, and training in songwriting, music production, performance, and key industry skills including promotion, releases, and career planning.
Collaboration and Industry Connection
Connect with other artists, producers, and industry professionals. Build relationships, collaborate on projects, and develop networks that support your next steps.
Pathways and Career Support
Gain support to understand how the industry works, access opportunities and funding, and develop strategies to share your work and grow your audience.
Accessible, Artist-Led Approach
All sessions are designed with accessibility at the centre, creating a supportive environment where you can focus on building skills and progressing your career.
Who it’s for
This program is for artists and music industry creatives with disability who are motivated to build their skills, explore professional opportunities, and take the next step in the music industry.
Location
Based at the WAH Studio and various locations to suit your needs, with a mix of in-person and online options.
Apply
Open to songwriters, musicians, producers, and music industry practitioners with disability with a solid artistic/industry practice who are at emerging through to established stages. If you’re ready to build your skills, grow your networks, and move forward in the music industry, we’d love to hear from you.
Payment Details:
NDIS
If you have an eligible NDIS Plan you will need to use this to pay for your participation. Your Plan will be charged at NDIS Price Guide rates, or if self managed, at a negotiated rate, for the hours of support provided. We usually charge your Core budget under Community Participation support item codes, but can also charge your Capacity Building budget if there’s funding available.
Non NDIS
If you are not NDIS funded and have no other funded support, speak with us about cash fee options.
