Tailored mentoring, training, and connection for artists with disability


Wild At Heart’s Artist Development Program is a supportive space for songwriters, musicians, producers, and music industry workers with disability to grow their creative practice and deepen their connection to the music community.

Whether you’re just starting out or already established, the program meets you where you’re at. We work alongside you to develop your skills, build confidence, and explore pathways that feel right for your creative and professional journey.

What you’ll experience

🎵 Creative & Professional Development – Workshops, mentorship, and training in songwriting, music production, performance, and industry skills.

🎤 Collaborative Opportunities – Time and space to connect with other artists, producers, and industry practitioners to share ideas, collaborate, create, record, and perform original music.

📢 Industry Pathways & Support – Support to better understand the music industry, access funding opportunities, share your work, and grow your audience in ways that suit you.

🎶 Inclusive & Accessible Approach – All sessions are designed with accessibility at the centre, so you can focus on your creativity, expression, and growth.

Who it’s for

This program is for people who want to grow their music and industry skills, are open to learning and new experiences, and are committed to developing their creative practice in a supportive, artist-led environment.

Location

WAH Studio, with other in-person and online options available.

Who can apply?

The program is open to songwriters, musicians, producers and music industry practitioners who identify as having a disability. No matter where you’re at in your journey, if you’re passionate about making music and growing your practice, we’d love to hear from you.

Payment Details:

NDIS

If you have an eligible NDIS Plan you will need to use this to pay for your participation. Your Plan will be charged at NDIS Price Guide rates, or if self managed, at a negotiated rate, for the hours of support provided. We usually charge your Core budget under Community Participation support item codes, but can also charge your Capacity Building budget if there’s funding available.

Non NDIS

If you are not NDIS funded and have no other funded support, we have various levels of cash fees depending on your situation.
