Wild At Heart Records presents: What Does a Record Label Do?

  • WAH Studio 5 Blackwood Street North Melbourne, VIC, 3051 Australia (map)

This information session introduces artists to the role of a record label and how Wild At Heart Records (WAHR) can help you release and promote your music. WAHR is an independent, accessible, artist-led label releasing music by songwriters and musicians with lived experience of disability, mental illness, and neurodiversity.

We’ll cover who and what WAHR is, what a record label does, and how release planning works in practice. Learn about release schedules, timelines, and when to start preparing for a release, with clear, practical guidance designed to support artists at every stage of their journey.

This session is ideal for artists who are new to releasing music or who want a clearer understanding of how WAHR can support their creative work.
