WAH WORKOUT: 90-Minute Songwriting Challenge with BEC SYKES

WAH WORKOUT is a monthly, online 90 minute songwriting workshop for people with disabilities, neurodivergence, mental or chronic illness. A set of activities & prompts designed to exercise your creative muscles and get inspired by your fave Naarm musicians... from the comfort of your own homes!

This month our special guest will be Melbourne/Naarm folk singer BEC SYKES. Releasing her debut album ‘Pepperpot Magic’ in 2023, Sykes has since gone on to gain critical acclaim with her dark and emotive folk sound.

ACCESSIBILITY NOTES:

  • Online format catering to low sensory capacity and low social battery.

  • You don't need to have access to or play an instrument. Accompanying chord progressions will be provided for those who'd like to experiment with it. 

  • This event will not be Auslan interpreted

Payment Details:

NDIS

If you have an eligible NDIS Plan you will need to use this to pay for your participation. Your Plan will be charged at NDIS Price Guide rates, or if self managed, at a negotiated rate, for the hours of support provided. We usually charge your Core budget under Community Participation support item codes, but can also charge your Capacity Building budget if there’s funding available.

Non NDIS

If you are not NDIS funded and have no other funded support, we have various levels of cash fees depending on your situation.
