Build confidence on stage to handle a soundcheck, communicate with sound engineers and understand the technical side of live music. Held in a live music venue, led by professional musician and artist Rhysics and international sound engineer Jesse.
Learn what to expect in a soundcheck and how to advocate for your music and access needs. We’ll cover mic technique, basic equipment, common terminology, how to get the sound you need and professional etiquette. Get an inside look at the artist–engineer relationship and learn to troubleshoot basics, communicate clearly and shape the sound you want in a live setting.
