With songs ranging from scorching ballads through toe-tapping pop rock to playful country- pop, Jen Frank is an accomplished singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Australia.
Jen Frank tackles some challenging & topical issues with a quirky, tongue in cheek attitude, covering personal and social commentary, including love & loss, bullying, body image, social media, fun times and ageing. Having played at dozens of venues across Melbourne, Jen is an experienced performer and dynamic vocalist.
In 2011, Jen began to develop mental health issues. This experience helped her to understand some of the challenges she faced in life and helped her to connect with and commit to her passion as a creator and performer of original music. As a member of the Wild At Heart community, Jen has played a leading role in organising events, including the Unmuted Festival for artists with mental illness, and the Lyrical Women songwriting program for women and non-binary women identifying artists.
Jen’s new EP Phone in the River is a collection of songs full of hooks and lush instrumentation recorded and produced by Craig Pilkington at Audrey Studios, and is out now through Wild At Heart Records.
