Artist Development Manager


FULL TIME position. Persons with lived experience of disability, mental illness, neuro and gender diversity encouraged to apply.


Wild At Heart is seeking a skilled and music industry savvy person to lead and grow our artist development program for artists with disability, mental illness, neuro and gender diversity.


The Manager will develop programs to support artists to record and release their original music, develop their careers and gain access to the music industry.

 

Initiatives will include establishing Wild At Heart Records, a fully accessible and disability led record label to support the making and distribution of artists’ work and an artist management service.


The Manager will work closely with and support peer leadership, using disability-led and co-design processes led by participant and industry peer artists.


Wage benchmarked to the SCHADS award depending on skills and experience.

Volunteers


Skilled and experienced volunteers required for songwriting and music mentoring, accompaniment in recording and performance, social mentoring, workshop support and project management and administration.


Student placements and intern roles are also possible depending on the support and supervision requirements and the reciprocal benefit to WAH and artists.

Business Manager


PART TIME position. Persons with lived experience of disability, mental illness, neuro and gender diversity encouraged to apply.


Wild At Heart is seeking a highly skilled business manager to lead and develop our business operations and capacity building to support organisational growth.


The Manager will have substantial experience in all arts based not for profit business operations including understanding the needs and constraints of small arts organisations. The successful applicant will have well developed skills and experience in people and employment management, budget planning and management, financial control and acountability, a strong understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, taxation, risk management and more.

 

The Business Manager will support and train peers with lived experience to gain skills and knowledge in business operations and administration.


Part time position 2-3 days per week by negotiation. Wage benchmarked to the SCHADS award depending on skills and experience.

Communications Manager


CASUAL POSITION. Persons with lived experience of disability, mental illness, neuro and gender diversity encouraged to apply.


Wild At Heart is seeking a highly skilled communicator and marketer to help WAH promote the music and stories of the artists we support and the work we do.


The Communications Manager will develop WAH’s communications through upgrade of our website, social media platforms, newsletters, annual reports, artist profiles, access to an exposure in media, promotion within the music industry and the disability sector.


Industry based wage depending on skills and experience.
