Wild At Heart supports and trains artists who experience visible and invisible disability, mental illness, neuro and gender diversity to tell their stories and engage with the community through paid and unpaid creative work.

Wild At Heart is a vibrant creative community, including the Inkrewsive hip hop crew, the Wild Divas, the Bipolar Bears rock band, songwriters, singers, film makers, dancers, event makers, project managers, volunteers, staff and directors.

Professional artists facilitate skill development and creativity in songwriting, singing, instrumental and technology skills, performance, recording, music production, releasing music, getting gigs and building community.

We know from our own impact measurement and the extensive body of international research that music making in itself, and even more so as part of a community, is hugely positive for mental well being, friendship and belonging, physical health, economic and cultural quality and representation.

We work in partnership with communities, non-government organisations and all levels of government to provide high quality arts and cultural development programs.  We’d love you to be involved!

Wild At Heart is a not-for-profit Australian Company. We are governed by a Board of Directors and guided by an Advisory Group made up of the artists we work with. Our team of project managers and artists run and deliver our artistic programs. Meet our Staff here.
